Your route

Day by day

Soft sands & the scent of spice

Grand Anse Beach

Day 1: Welcome to the Spice Island

Touch down in Grenada and meet your private driver for the journey to your boutique coastal hotel. Check into your oceanview suite, where welcome cocktails await on your private patio. Toast to the days ahead with a glass of rum punch as the sun sinks toward the Caribbean.

Day 2: Beach walks & hidden coves

Spend the morning as you wish. Walk the beach while the sand is still cool, take a swim, or relax beneath the sea grape trees. This afternoon, head out by small boat along the coast, passing quiet headlands and stopping to swim in sheltered coves. Return for a leisurely evening at your retreat.

Day 3: From cocoa trees to the Grenadian kitchen

Venture into hills filled with breadfruit, nutmeg, and cocoa trees to visit a working estate. Explore fermenting sheds and drying racks where cocoa beans are turned by hand, and taste cocoa tea prepared the local way. Later, join a family kitchen to cook a Grenadian dish with fresh produce and spices, then sit down together to enjoy your delicious handiwork.

Day 4: Historic rum-making & a private dinner

Delve into Grenada’s rum-making history with a tour of the River Antoine Rum Distillery. Watch historic machinery at work as you learn about the island’s distilling traditions. Tonight, return to your hotel for a private dinner close to the water, with candlelight and the sound of the sea nearby.

Day 6: Jungle waterfalls & refreshing pools

Trek through lush jungle trails alive with birdsong and swaying palms, arriving at waterfalls and clear pools where you can swim and explore. Return to the coast by mid-afternoon for time on the beach, beside the pool, or relaxing together at your retreat.

Day 7: A little indulgence & a candlelit farewell

Savor your final full day in paradise. Swim, stroll the beach, or relax with a book before enjoying a couples massage at your hotel. Tonight, gather for a second private dinner. With the scent of frangipani on the breeze and the sound of waves in the distance, it’s the perfect end to a romantic escape.

Where to stay

Six Senses La Sagesse

Six Senses La Sagesse

Two quiet bays frame Six Senses La Sagesse on Grenada’s less-developed southern coast. Its 56 pool suites and 15 villas follow the hillside and lagoon, with private pools, extensive wellness facilities, and family programs built into the resort.

Calabash Hotel Grenada

Calabash Hotel

Calabash is a family-run, 30-suite hotel on a sheltered bay in Lance aux Épines. Three restaurants, breakfast served on each suite’s terrace or beside the beach, and produce from the family’s 70-acre farm give food a larger role than at most small Caribbean hotels.

Silversands Grand Anse Grenada

Silversands Grand Anse

A 100-meter infinity pool, marketed as one of the longest in the Caribbean, running from the lobby terrace straight out to Grand Anse Beach, set inside a deliberately minimalist, architecture-forward design that breaks from the island's traditional colonial style. It's a family-friendly resort rather than an adults-only retreat, on-site dining runs to three or four venues rather than a large resort's full campus of restaurants, and the minimalist, contemporary architecture is a deliberate departure from the lush, colonial-style look some travelers expect in the Caribbean.

Silversands Beach House

Silversands Beach House

A cliffside setting over secluded Portici Beach, with a 42-foot infinity pool and arced, sail-like canopy roofs, designed by architect Khaled Morgan, shading each room's private terrace; opened in 2024 and named to TIME's World's Greatest Places that same year. There's just one restaurant and a treatment room rather than a full spa on-site, so guests wanting more dining and wellness variety need to shuttle to the sister property at Grand Anse, and its cliffside, secluded setting is more removed from Grand Anse's main beach strip and nightlife.
