Your route

Day by day

A week above Smugglers Cove

St. Lucia

Day 1: Arrival on the northern coast

Arrive at Hewanorra International Airport and meet your private driver for the journey north. Check into your suite with its own pool and roof terrace, with time to unpack and take a first swim before dinner.

Day 2: Hike Gros Piton

Leave early for the journey south to Gros Piton and a guided hike up the forested slopes. Take in the views over the coast before descending and returning north. Keep the evening free after a full day out.

Day 3: A massage & cliffside dinner

After yesterday’s hike, spend the morning at the spa for a couples’ massage. The afternoon is yours for the beach or your rooftop pool. This evening, sit down to a cliffside dinner overlooking the Caribbean.

Day 4: Beneath the surface

Head out for a snorkeling excursion around Smugglers Cove or Rodney Bay, with the location chosen for the day’s conditions. Look for tropical fish among the reefs before returning for an afternoon by the water.

Day 5: A private sunset sail

Leave the day open until your private catamaran sail along the coast. Swim when conditions allow, enjoy champagne on board, and watch the light change across the water as the sun drops toward the horizon.

Day 6: One more day by the sea

Spend your final full day at your own pace. Walk down to the beach, visit Gros Islet, or stay beside your rooftop pool. For dinner, perhaps choose a beachside restaurant or arrange a meal in your suite.

Day 7: Farewell to St. Lucia

Enjoy breakfast and a final beach walk before your private transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Where to stay

Cap Maison, Gros Islet, St. Lucia.

Cap Maison

Clifftop suites above Smugglers Cove, with rooftop pool options and restaurants overlooking the northern coast. Whitewashed Spanish Caribbean villas, a cliff-edge restaurant and a cove of its own make this the most romantic address on St. Lucia's northern tip.

Sugar Beach St Lucia

Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort

Sugar Beach occupies more than 100 rainforest acres between the Pitons, with a white-sand beach at the base of the UNESCO-listed peaks. Seven accommodation collections, many with plunge pools and butler service, range from rooms and cottages to beachfront bungalows and large residences.

Jade Mountain, Soufrière, St. Lucia.

Jade Mountain

Open-sided sanctuaries frame the Pitons and Caribbean Sea. Choose a pool sanctuary for a private infinity pool, with beaches and snorkeling below at Anse Chastanet. With one wall left open to the view, this is the Caribbean's most theatrical room with a view.

Infinity pool and deck at Rabot Hotel, set in rainforest above Soufrière with Petit Piton rising beyond, St. Lucia

Rabot Hotel from Hotel Chocolat

Rabot Hotel sits on a historic cacao estate above Soufrière, with 25 open-air lodges looking through rainforest toward the Pitons. Cacao shapes the restaurant, spa, workshops, and farm experiences, making this an inland stay rather than a conventional beach resort.

Cottage bedroom at East Winds, St. Lucia, with a vaulted wooden ceiling, rattan furniture and garden views

East Winds

Thirty cottages and oceanfront rooms sit throughout 12 acres of botanical gardens at East Winds. The small all-inclusive resort combines a quiet beach, traditional Caribbean accommodation, and an age-eight minimum.
