Working with Osaviva

From what if to wheels up

Escapes that connect you to place, purpose, and possibility

Personalized journeys, designed just for you

At Osaviva, we design custom journeys across Latin America and the Caribbean, bringing together regional expertise, responsible partnerships, and the people and experiences that make each place extra special.

Whether it’s a honeymoon under the stars, a desert and mountain odyssey, a multigenerational adventure through rainforest and reef, or a private island escape, we begin with you. Your interests, travel style, and preferences establish the framework; then we put all the building blocks in place. We arrange the stays, in-country transportation, guides, and experiences in your proposal, and coordinate the details with our local partners.

Our process starts with advice and continues through your return home. We'll be with you every step of the way.

How we work

Planning made simple

Traveler walking among the Maya temples at Tikal, Guatemala.

Step 01

Tell us your ideas

Tell us where you’re dreaming of going, who’s coming, what you’re celebrating, your dates and how you like to travel. Start with a complimentary 30-minute call, or go straight to written itineraries.

You share the dream. We help you find the right starting point.

Step 02

We map the route

We match places, hotels and experiences to your brief, checking the season and the travel time between stops. Along the way, we explain the trade-offs, like a remote lodge worth the longer transfer or an extra night to slow things down.

A recommended route, stays and experiences, with the reasons behind each choice.

Step 03

Compare your options

Within seven business days of receiving your questionnaire and retainer, you’ll have two written, priced itineraries. Each one is laid out day by day, with everything that’s included.

Written, priced options to compare. Reservations follow once you book.

Step 04

Make it yours

Swap a hotel, slow the pace, add a guided day or more time by the sea. Send your changes together, and we’ll adjust the plan and walk you through any price changes.

You review the plan before deciding to book, and we refine it until it's perfect.

Step 05

Confirm your trip

When it feels right, approve your itinerary and booking terms and pay your deposit. We then secure every stay, transfer and guide with our hotels and local partners.

The usual deposit is 30%. Your proposal sets out the applicable terms and payment dates.

Step 06

Prepare for departure

A further 20% is usually due 90 days before departure, with the final 50% and traveler details at 60 days out. Your proposal confirms the exact dates, including any adjustments for peak dates or late bookings.

Your final itinerary arrives 10–30 days before travel, followed by a pre-departure call.

Step 07

Travel with 24/7 support

Your itinerary gathers every arrangement and contact in one place, so you always know where to be and who’s meeting you. Osaviva and our local partners are on call 24/7 for anything urgent.

Support from people who know your trip and our regions, inside and out.

Step 08

Share your stories

Once you’re home, tell us about the guides, the stays and the days you’d happily repeat. Your feedback sharpens our recommendations and gives your next trip a head start.

Your experience guides the advice we give next.
